The Advisory Centre for Competition Law & Policy in Africa, together with the Centre for Competition, Regulation and Economic Development (CCRED) at the University of Johannesburg, is pleased to invite you to a public platform on Digital Markets, Competition and Regulation.
Digital markets continue to raise important questions for competition and regulation, from the exercise of market power and the conditions for effective participation to how regulatory frameworks should respond as these markets evolve.
Join Advisory Centre expert Prof Martin Peitz, Professor of Economics at the University of Mannheim and Director of MaCCI, and Karissa Moothoo Padayachie Nair, Economist and Researcher at CCRED, for a discussion on the emerging challenges in digital markets and different approaches to competition and regulation in South Africa and internationally.
The event will take place on Monday, 5 October from 16h00 to 18h00 at the JBS Auditorium at the University of Johannesburg.
